Paint With the Full Box of Crayons!

Along with a small group of photographers, I recently participated in a photo Walk About with workshop leader Jeff Johnson.

What is a photo Walk About?  Johnson says, “A Walk About is a three hour long event with a gathering of like-minded, curious photographers who wish to push their creativity and talents.”

This particular Walk About was geared toward seeing creatively with our phone cameras and using intentional camera movement.  (ICM)  The location – Plaza Mariachi – simply couldn’t have been any better.  Abundant colors, textures, lights, movement, and diverse subject matter placed me in ‘photographer’s heaven.’

At one point in time Jeff Johnson walked up to ask me how I was doing.

“I’m having a ball!” was my quick response.

As a matter of fact, I had so much fun that I didn’t want the afternoon to end!

“Life is about using the full box of crayons” and I absolutely love the freedom to ‘paint with my camera.’
