One of my favorite places to go and meander with my camera is the local agricultural center. It has walking trails, a museum and many gardens. One of them is an iris garden with nearly a hundred different kinds of iris.
I was fortunate to go there when many of the different species were in bloom.
The recent rain added to the graphic nature of the flowers.
The iris all shared a commonality but were each as individual as we are.
I chose black and white to highlight this uniqueness without their colors getting in the way.
