“In all aspects of our lives balance is key. Doing one thing too much can cause upset, like the old saying goes, everything in moderation is the secret!” – attributed to Catherine Pulsifer
It happens to all of us I suspect. We get caught up in obligations. In routine. In the tug and pull of everyday life events. In life’s ‘rat race.’
Sometimes the need to hit the ‘reset button’ slaps us on the face. It’s then we realize the need to step back from the hustle and bustle of life. There’s a need to pause. A need to take a deep breath. A need to smooth out the rough edges. We recognize the need to find and restore balance.

Still waters gently moving along the shore line often help me ‘refresh and renew’ and restore balance.
Join me as I explore – with much gratitude – a calm Kentucky Lake on a quiet, foggy morning walk.
