As Seen From Various Perspectives: Still Life

According to Wikipedia, A still life (plural: still lifes) is a work of art depicting mostly inanimate subject matter, typically commonplace objects which are either natural (food, flowers, dead animals, plants, rocks, shells, etc.) or man-made (drinking glasses, books, vases, jewelry, coins, pipes, etc.)

Often photographers will carefully arrange objects in a contrived setting, meticulously control and monitor the lighting, and photograph the inanimate objects described in the above paragraph to create a still life image.

The women of f/4 Studio take a look a ‘found’ still lifes, perhaps offering a more loose interpretation to this widely accepted and appreciated art form.

Love each one. Touches my thinking with all kinds of imaginary stories of their existence! Thanks to each of you for sharing!
