It’s the end of another year. Most of us have spent time with family over the last few weeks. Some of us have lost family members this year which make the holidays a little more bittersweet. In fact, I lost my younger brother to cancer on Friday. It makes us hold a little tighter to those still among us. Below are some of our interpretations of “family.”

One of the definitions I came across when writing this post was “family: a group of people united by criminal activity.” I’d like to amend that to read “a common activity” as I consider many of my artist friends to be united in a creative activity and, hence, a family.
Best wishes for a New Year of new endeavors and creative pursuits from the women of f/4 studio!
