It was on my July birthday that Charles and I wandered into Sievers School of Fabric Art that describes itself as “an internationally known, three-season visual arts and crafts school ‘north of the tension line’ on beautiful Washington Island in Door County, Wisconsin. With only one foot over the threshold, I was blinded by the overwhelming, throbbing splash of color that washed over me.
There were yarns…
And there was a variety of fabric…
And there were looms that displayed the conversion of yarn into usable, even wearable products.
With the permission of the shopkeeper, I wandered with camera in hand, feasting on the banquet of color spread before me. Oh, happy day!
