The Last Flowers of Summer

lastflowers-3006

Every year amongst my container plants I plant a packet of morning glory seeds. As my tomatoes died in August the glories came into their own. What a delight to see them every morning as I have my breakfast. I kept my camera by the back door and spent time these last two weeks out shooting.

As you can see, this year I planted a variety pack and so enjoyed the different colors.

This small exercise was a wonderful way to relax before starting my work for the day!
