Born and raised in South Texas, I have a summer soul. I stand undaunted in the face of humid breezes and sultry temperatures. My spirit sings with the greening of the season.
A recent photographic exploration of a friend’s neighborhood placed me in all things summer. Specifically, I was drawn to the feel rather than the facts of summer.
My intentional camera movement joined the stirring of the wind.
The hostas were lovely, dark, and deep.
And I got lost in the reflections on the lake.
All in all, it was a very good morning.

TACTILE for sure!! You captured what my eye, skin, ears and fingertips have been enjoying the last few weeks. THANKS for your always right on sharing.
Ah, Sharon, your photographs are refreshment for the spirit. I identify with your “summer soul.” South Louisiana is much the same as South Texas. For you there was probably the additional embracing hint of salt from the sea blowing in those “humid breezes.” I can sense all of it in looking at your photographs. Thank you! Howard
