I’ve gone up to Olivet Cemetery three or four times since I’ve moved to Nashville. As someone who enjoys photographing architecture and architectural details it’s a treasure trove.
Olivet Cemetery has been around since 1856 and is the resting place for many Tennessee governors, senators and over 1,500 Confederate soldiers. Self-guided and guided tours are offered and I highly recommend checking it out.
Over the many acres you can find interesting mausoleums, crypts, statues and headstones.
It’s a great place to visit in any season if you’re a photographer or history buff.
