The decorations came down from the attic in early December. The flurry of holiday parties is drawing to a close. The Christmas cards printed, addressed, and mailed with time to spare. The presents are wrapped and placed around the tree. The turkey is purchased and thawing in the refrigerator. The cooking and baking frenzy begins today…and there is a certain sense of anticipation in the air.
Christmas Eve is TOMORROW! And in our home, that means the family will gather to celebrate.
Hopefully in the midst of all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we can take time to reflect on the true meaning of the season.
My wish for you:
May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace,
The gladness of Christmas give you hope,
The warmth of Christmas grant you love.
Merry Christmas!
